Fortnite(Shooter) von Epic Games / Gearbox Publishing

Der Start von Season 6 bei Fortnite lief nicht ganz rund. Abgesehen davon, dass Epic Games die Schattensteine und damit eines der zentralen Features von Saison 6 kurzfristig deaktivieren mussten (Bug: dauerhafte Unsichtbarkeit), sorgte eine Animation für reichlich Aufsehen. Stein des Anstoßes ist die Jubel-Animation des neuen weiblichen Charakters “Calamity”, die mit dem Battle Pass freigeschaltet wird. Bei der Figur, die gerne Wild-West-Outfits trägt, wackeln beim Jubeltanz nämlich die Brüste, was ein Twitter-Nutzer gleich als “die wichtigste Sache im Update der Saison 6” bezeichnete.



Epic Games reagiert sehr schnell und erklärte gegenüber The Verge: “Das ist unbeabsichtigt, peinlich, und es war leichtsinnig von uns, das so zu veröffentlichen. Wir arbeiten jetzt daran, das so schnell wie möglich zu beheben.” Daraufhin wurden Teile des Animationssystems abgeschaltet, was auch andere Charaktere außer “Calamity” betraf. Mittlerweile wurde ein Update veröffentlicht, das Probleme mit Gegenständen und Animationen behebt.

  1. oO Probleme mit "wackelnden Brüsten"? Kaum zu glauben...
    Hat der Designer im Engine-Tool beim Asset "Titten" in der Materialauswahl versehentlich "Silikon" statt "Beton" ausgewählt? Peinlich.

  2. Also ich habe mir mal auf youtube die "Jiggle Physics" von Fortnite angeguckt und kann nicht ganz nachvollziehen, warum da so ein Wirbel drum gemacht wird. Die wackeln ein bisschen bei bestimmten Emotes, woooow. Das war's dann aber auch. Erstmal sind die Brüste nicht "riesig" und wackeln auch nicht extrem wie in Dead or Alive. Naja....

  4. Gestern im Kino gewesen und musste leider auch an dieses Thema hier denken, als die Werbung eines große Eisherstellers lief. Die doch relativ luftig bekleidete Dame im Spot hat ... oh schreck am Ende getanzt und da hat es auch gewackelt. Denkt denn niemand mehr an die Kinder. Skandal! *Sarkasmus off*

  5. Die "wackel" Animation sieht aber auch total beschissen aus, echt traurig für einen Engine-Enwickler wie Epic, der technologisch eigentlich Vorreiter sein sollte.
    So schwierig sollte es nicht sein die Brüste einer bekleideten Frau mit BH zu animieren, ein paar Schauspielerinnen mit verschiedenen Oberweiten einladen, Tracking Punkte für die Kameras drauf und :Hüpf:.
