Für die PC-Version von Final Fantasy 15 (Steam, Origin, Windows 10 Store) sind der Patch 1.24 und der “Mod Organizer” veröffentlicht worden. Der Mod Organizer ist ein Werkzeug, das zur Erstellung und Verwaltung von Mods für die Windows Edition von FF15 erforderlich ist. Es ermöglicht Spielern, Modelle in Mod-Daten umzuwandeln und diese in die Spielewelt einzubauen. Mit dem Mod Organizer können zudem Charaktere, Waffen und Outfits modifiziert werden. Das Tool kann nicht zur Erstellung und Bearbeitungen von Materialien und Objekten wie beispielweise 3D-Modellen verwendet werden. Modelle können mit einer 3D-Design-Software erstellt werden und im FBX-Format für den Mod Organizer exportiert werden. Durch den Austausch der existierenden Modelle und deren Texturen können Spieler das Aussehen von Noctis, Prompto, Gladiolus, Ignis und anderen Nebencharakteren verändern, darunter Ardyn und Aranea und die NPCs, die sie auf ihrem Abenteuer treffen.

“Neben der physischen Erscheinung der Charaktere können auch Outfits und Kostüme durch neue Designs ersetzt werden. Waffen können nicht nur modifiziert, sondern auch neu erstellt und ihre Parameter angepasst werden. Die Leistung einer neuen Waffe kann über die Zuteilung von insgesamt 100 Punkten auf unterschiedliche Parameter wie Angriffskraft, maximale LP, MP, Vitalität und Resistenz gegen Elementarmagie definiert werden. Dieses Parametersystem hilft bei der Sicherstellung der Balance im Spiel. Vorgefertigte Beispiele für 3D-Modelle ermöglichen den schnellen Austausch von Kostümen und Waffen, so sind auch fortgeschrittene Werkzeuge für kreativere Mods von Beginnern leicht zu verwenden.”

Der Mod Organizer für Windows und Origin kann hier runtergeladen werden. Für Steam wird der Mod Organizer zu den Werkzeugen im Steam-Launcher hinzugefügt.
