Ein viertes und vorerst letztes Mal hat der Epic Games Store sein Gratis-Spiel der Woche hinter einer Schattenwand versteckt. Jetzt ist der Zeitpunkt gekommen, diese einzureißen und das dahinterliegende Game direkt zum Download freizugeben.

Wie gewohnt bleibt genau eine Woche Zeit zum Herunterladen, bis dann das nächste kurzzeitig kostenlose Spiel die Folgeschicht übernimmt. Wartet also nicht zu lang, falls das aktuelle Angebot genau euren Wünschen entspricht.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns schlüpft für den Epic Games Store aus seinem Preisschild

Teil vier der Geheimnisserie im Epic Games Store bringt euch Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Normalerweise würdet ihr 59,99 Euro hinlegen, um in das Superheld*innen-Abenteuer eintauchen zu können. Zuvor gab es bei Epic allerdings bereits einen dicken Rabatt von 75 Prozent, der sich jetzt auch noch für kurze Zeit um die letzten 25 Prozent erweitert hat.

Ihr wisst ja wie das läuft: Wenn die Welt wieder mal in Gefahr schwebt, liegt es an den Superheldinnen und Superhelden, jegliche Katastrophen abzuwenden und sich den verantwortlichen Fieslingen entgegenzustellen. In Marvel’s Midnight Suns trägt das Böse den Namen Lilith und die von ihr ausgelösten Hilferufe sind diesmal an euch gerichtet. Als Jägerin oder Jäger wird euch nämlich die Aufgabe zuteil, die Mächte des Guten gemeinsam mit bekannten Marvel-Charakteren wie beispielsweise den Avengers zu verteidigen.

Kämpfe, die euch auf eurer Mission nicht zu selten begegnen, tragt ihr über ein kartenbasiertes Strategiespiel aus. Umhüllt wird diese Mechanik beispielsweise in Sachen Anpassungsmöglichkeiten und Handlungsabläufe von den Grundzügen eines Rollenspiels. Nicht in jedem Aspekt des Games müsst ihr unbedingt taktisches Verständnis und Kampfgeist beweisen, zwischendurch bleibt auch Zeit, mit euren Super-Freunden und -Freundinnen abzuhängen.

Am 13. Juni 2024 um 16:59 schmeißt der Epic Games Store Marvel’s Midnight Suns wieder aus der Gratis-Kategorie raus, um Platz für den Thronfolger zu schaffen. Wer sich die Krone als Nächstes aufsetzen darf, verschweigt der Shop mittlerweile auch nicht mehr: Der Countdown läuft bereits für den siebentägigen, hundertprozentigen Preisfall von Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms und Redout 2. In der Zwischenzeit lohnt sich für kostenloses Spiele-Futter auch ein Blick auf Steam, denn dort gibt es seit dieser Woche vier neue Free-to-Play-Titel.

  2. Also Persona erkenne ich da nicht so recht in Midnight Suns. Eher XCOM (Chimera Squad).
    Ansonsten kann ich das Spiel aber auch empfehlen, nur den EGS nicht. Gebt lieber n paar € im Sale aus und kauft es bei Steam.

  3. Kann ich nur absolut jedem empfehlen, der Marvel mag, kein Problem mit einer Persona-ähnlichen Struktur hat und ein wenig Zeit über hat. Insbesondere auf dem Steam Deck richtig gut spielbar!
