Für alle die, die es während der gamescom nicht mitbekommen haben: Darkest Dungeon ist seit dem 24. August 2017 auch fürs iPad erhältlich. Die sogenannte Tablet Edition des Taktik-Rollenspiels läuft laut Red Hook auf allen 64-Bit-Modellen mit mindestens iOS 9 und kann für 4,99 Dollar über den App Store bezogen werden.

Die zusammen mit Blitworks entwickelte Umsetzung soll alle Features der anderen Fassungen enthalten und zudem Spielstandsabgleichungen mit den PC-, Mac- und Linux-Versionen via Dropbox erlauben. Die Crimson-Court-Erweiterung soll ebenfalls noch dieses Jahr ihren Weg aufs iPad finden.

  1. Hm.... auf einem größeren Tablet sollte das ganz gut hinhauen - aber alles mit kleinerem Display (Smartphone, Switch) ist leider nicht so geil, wie man glauben möchte.
    Habe DD auf der PS Vita und für kleine Displays ist das Spiel einfach nicht gemacht.
    Da erkennt man kaum noch Details, vor allem bei Schriften, die in dem Spiel doch recht wichtig sind.
    Kann ich daher für mobile Zwecke nur eingeschränkt empfehlen.
    Die Switch könnte evtl. geraaaaade noch klappen...
    Aber klar, auf einem Tablet oder Laptop für unterwegs ist das richtig geil.

  2. Kann mir das Spiel echt gut auf dem iPad vorstellen. Das Teil hat halt nen richtig tolles Display mit super Farben. Da findet man auch so Spiele wie Edna Bricht aus oder Deponia, eben nicht Mikrotransaktionsverseucht.

    Die kommt sicher als nächstes. Ich kann mir vorstellen, RedHook wollten erstmal die iOS-Version in trockenen Tüchern haben.
