Für die Early-Access-Version von Curse of the Dead Gods ist das Update 0.20 “Path of Trials” veröffentlicht worden. Der Dungeon-Crawler wird um einen Tutorial-Bereich erweitert, in dem die grundlegenden Spiel- und Kampfmechaniken erklärt werden. Darüber hinaus können Waffen und Relikte für Heilungen, Werte, eine Reduktion der Verderbnis etc. recycelt werden. An den neuen Waffen-Upgrade-Schreinen wird man außerdem seine Ausrüstung aufrüsten können. Das Change-Log findet ihr hier. Die Roadmap der Entwickler zeigt das folgende Bild. Demnach wird das nächste Update neue Waffen, Kampfstile und Blitze hinzufügen.
Im Zuge des Focus Home Publisher-Events auf Steam wird Curse of the Dead Gods – zusammen mit diversen anderen Titeln wie Hardspace Shipbreaker, The Surge 2, Greedfall oder Othercide – mit Rabatt angeboten.
