Die Collection of Mana ist heute von Square Enix auf Nintendo Switch veröffentlicht worden. Die 39,99 Euro teure Sammlung umfasst die Original-Versionen von Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden (Final Fantasy Adventure bzw. Mystic Quest), Seiken Densetsu 2 (Secret of Mana) und Seiken Densetsu 3 (Trials of Mana). Der dritte Teil der Reihe war außerhalb Japans nicht veröffentlicht worden und wurde somit auch nicht übersetzt. Die Sammlung wird laut Nintendo in den Sprachen Deutsch, Englisch, Spanisch und Französisch angeboten.

Diese Spiele-Sammlung enthält nun auch eine Schnellspeicher-Funktion. Secret of Mana bietet einen lokalen Mehrspieler-Modus für bis zu drei Spieler. Trials of Mana können zwei Personen gemeinsam spielen.

Nintendo: “Diese Sammlung vereint die ersten drei Titel der wegweisenden Mana-Serie in einem Komplettpaket für Nintendo Switch. Es ist unverzichtbar für all diejenigen, die diese Klassiker zum ersten Mal erleben möchten aber natürlich auch für NostalgikerInnen, die ihre Erinnerungen an die fantastischen Abenteuer auffrischen wollen – egal ob zuhause oder unterwegs.”

In Europa wird Collection of Mana exklusiv für die Nintendo Switch auch als Box-Version bei ausgewählten Händlern zur Verfügung stehen (in begrenzter Stückzahl).

Heute wurde außerdem ein HD-Remake von Trials of Mana angekündigt (wir berichteten).

    40€ für ein Gameboy und zwei SNES ROMs. Nintendo sind echt die geilsten. Danke für den Lacher aber Nein Danke.
    Kannst ja mal schauen, was die Spiele im Original noch so kosten, falls du sie überhaupt bekommst. Nur weil es ROMs im Netz davon gibt, muss es noch lange nicht 5€ kosten. Zumal gerade Teil 3 bisher offiziell nie im Westen erschienen ist.
    40€ mag überzogen sein, aber kostenlos anbieten müssen sie es nun auch nicht.

    Ja. Habe es gerade ausprobiert. Alle drei Spiele haben deutsche Bildschirmtexte.
