Die Entwickler von Black Mesa (Fan-Remake von Half-Life) haben den öffentlichen, technischen Testlauf der Xen-Levels gestartet. Die ersten drei Xen-Karten sind enthalten. Insgesamt wird es 19 Xen-Karten geben. Eine Anleitung, wie man Zugriff auf die öffentliche Beta bekommt, findet ihr hier.



Bei Steam heißt es weiter: “Der Zweck dieser Beta ist es, Fehler und Feedback auf einer Reihe von verschiedenen Computern zu sammeln. Wir haben große Verbesserungen und Änderungen an der Source-Engine vorgenommen und wir wollen, dass das Spiel so reibungslos wie möglich läuft. Wenn ihr auf dem neuesten Stand des Testlaufs sein wollt, dann entscheidet euch für diese Beta. Wenn ihr das ausgereifte, komplette Xen-Erlebnis wollt, solltet ihr warten. Es wird nicht lange dauern!”

  2. Soweit ich informiert bin, nimmt Xen innerhalb von Black Mesa weitaus mehr als 10% der Spielzeit & Fläche ein. Im Vergleich zum Original wurden nicht nur einzelne Passagen erweitert, sondern wohl etliche gänzlich neue Areale geschaffen.

    Seitdem warte ich auf Xen...
    So ähnlich ist es bei mir, ich hab das seit 2015 auf der wishlist, kaufe es aber erst, wenn es komplett ist. Mal sehen ob 2019 wirklich klappt.
