art of rally: Xbox-Umsetzung und “Kenia-Update” bestätigt

Bei der ID@Xbox-Veranstaltung hat Indie-Entwickler Funselektor (Absolute Drift) bekanntgegeben, dass art of rally irgendwann im Sommer 2021 auch für Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One und im Xbox Game Pass (PC und Konsole) erscheinen wird.

Darüber hinaus wird im Laufe des Jahres das “Kenia-Update” für alle Plattformen, inklusive der bereits verfügbaren PC-Version, erhältlich sein. Das Update umfasst sechs Levels (inklusive Mount Kenia und Lake Victoria), eine Rennstrecke, vier Wagen und zwei weitere Songs.

    Interessant, da hab ich mich dann wohl von der Genre-Einteilung hier täuschen lassen.
    Nicht wegen der Optik, die gefällt mir doch sehr gut.
    Aber wenn hier bei 4p ein "Arcade-Racer" eingetragen ist, dann wink ich normalerweise direkt ab :lol:

    art of rally hat ein wesentlich herausfordernderes Handling als die Optik glauben macht und ist mMn genau so "realistisch" wie es die top-down-Perspektive erlaubt,

    In dem Review hier wird das von einem eigentlich mehr Simulationen zugeneigten Spieler ganz gut auf den Punkt gebracht.

    Das in Verbindung mit der low poly Grafik wäre mal sehr interessant gewesen.
    Aber scheint dann doch "nur" ein Arcade Racer zu werden.
