Der Mai wird bei Amazon Prime Gaming noch einmal etwas voller: Wie Amazon in einer Pressemitteilung ankündigte, könnt ihr im aktuellen Monat als Prime-Abonnenten noch acht weitere Spiele eurem Account ohne Zusatzkosten gutschreiben lassen.

Bisher bot der Mai schon 15 “Gratis”-Spiele, darunter mit Planescape Torment ein Rollenspiel-Meisterwerk von 1999. Nun gibt es vor kurz vor Monatsende noch einmal eine zusätzliche Ladung, wodurch sich die Anzahl auf 23 Spiele erhöht, die Nutzer des Prime-Abos einlösen können. Für die Aktivierung Neuankömmlinge habt ihr übrigens bis zum 26. Juni 2023 Zeit.

Das Highlight unter den acht neuen Spielen trägt einen durchaus kuriosen Namen, der aber Programm ist: Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. Als “liebenswerte Rübe”, so die Entwickler, habt ihr leider die Gemüseregierung hintergangen und Steuern vorenthalten. Die Folgen sind Zwangsräumung und ein Berg voller Schulden, den ihr nun beim Bürgermeister Zwiebel abarbeiten müsst.

Um das zu bewerkstelligen gilt es verschiedene Rätsel zu lösen, euch mit anderen Gemüse- und Obstvertretern zusammenzuschließen und sogar Kämpfe gegen kleine und größere Tiere zu überstehen. Die Geschichte nimmt dabei etwa zwei bis drei Stunden Spielzeit ein und lohnt sich daher besonders für einen kurzweiligen Nachmittag, wenn man auf etwas absurde Szenarien steht.



Neben der Steuerhinterziehungs-Rübe erwarten euch noch die folgenden zusätzlichen “Gratis”-Spiele, wenn ihr Abonnent von Amazon Prime seid:


Wie immer gilt: Ihr müsst die Spiele zuvor einmalig über die Prime-Webseite von Amazon aktivieren und könnt sie danach jederzeit herunterladen. Sobald ihr sie eurem Konto hinzugefügt habt, gehören die Spiele zudem dauerhaft euch, selbst wenn ihr euch dazu entscheidet, euer Prime Abo zu beenden.
