Ein ritterlicher Akt: Der Epic Games Store beschenkt euch mit Chivalry 2

Leaks hatten es schon vermutet, doch jetzt ist es glasklar: Diese Woche haut der Epic Games Store die mittelalterliche Kampfsimulation Chivalry 2 kostenlos raus. Zuvor gab es das Spiel für den Angebotspreis von 14,39 Euro im Shop zu kaufen, standardmäßig gelten Kosten in Höhe von 35,99 Euro. Aber ihr braucht euch über diese Zahlen nicht eure Brieftasche zu zerbrechen, solange der Download euch lediglich ein paar Klicks abverlangt.

Haben die Bits und Bytes schließlich eure Festplatte erreicht, dürft ihr euch in Chivalry 2 auf ein episches und gar brutales Schlachtfest mit Mittelalter-Kulisse einstellen. Euer Geschick mit der Waffe eurer Wahl wird dabei in Kriegsszenarien wie Burgbelagerungen auf die Probe gestellt. Mehrere Spieler*innen können gleichzeitig am Kampfgeschehen teilhaben und sich in actionreiche Sequenzen wie aus ihren liebsten Mittelalterfilmen einfühlen.

Chivalry 2 hat etwas über drei Jahre auf dem Buckel, das letzte große Update ist allerdings noch taufrisch: Regicide wurde am 22. Mai 2024 veröffentlicht. Zu den wichtigsten Neuerungen zählen unter anderem eine brandneue Map mit Teammission, ein frisches Charakter-Bundle und eine zusätzliche Waffe.

Am Donnerstag, dem 6. Juni 2024 um 16:59 zieht Chivalry 2 die Zugbrücke wieder hoch, um euren Weg hin zum nächsten Gratis-Spiel im Epic Games Store zu leiten. Solltet ihr im Besitz eines PS Plus-Abos sein, müsst ihr aber nicht so lange auf weiteren kostenlosen Games-Nachschub warten.
