Nachdem Sony angekündigt hat, Crossplay mit anderen Konsolen wie Switch und Xbox One zunächst mit Fortnite zu erlauben (wir berichteten), hat Epic Games eine Anleitung zur Zusammenführung von Fortnite-Konten veröffentlicht, die sich an die Nutzer richtet, die mehrere Epic-Konten eingerichtet haben, um Fortnite auf unterschiedlichen Konsolen zu spielen.

Epic Games schreibt: “Im November werden wir ein System zur Kontozusammenführung veröffentlichen, mit dem du verschiedene, mit Konsolen verknüpfte Konten miteinander verbinden kannst, um Käufe kosmetischer Gegenstände aus Battle Royale, alle Siege während deiner Nutzungsdauer, V-Bucks und Zugang zur Kampagne ‘Rette die Welt’ zu übertragen. Bis dahin ist es möglich, alle deine Konsolen mit einem einzigen Epic-Konto zu verknüpfen, damit zukünftige Fortschritte und Käufe überall verfügbar sind. Dies wird allerdings bereits existierende Käufe und Spielfortschritte deiner anderen Konten NICHT übertragen – dafür musst du auf die Zusammenführungsfunktion im November warten.”
